PADI Open Water Diver

Overview

The PADI Open Water Diver course at Cinderella Eldawley gives you everything you need to go from complete beginner to certified diver, with eLearning theory, pool practice, and 4 shore dives into the reefs of Sharm el-Sheikh, all with a maximum of 4 students per course.

Description

Sharm el-Sheikh sits at the meeting point of the Gulf of Aqaba and the Red Sea, surrounded by some of the most celebrated reefs on the planet. Learning to dive here isn't just convenient. It's an advantage. From your very first open water dive, you're in world-class conditions, with visibility that can stretch beyond 30 meters and marine life that will make you forget you're still a student. The PADI Open Water Diver course at Cinderella Eldawley Diving Center is built to get you into that water properly prepared, with a maximum of 4 students per course so your instructor, Mostafa Elsayed, is never more than a few meters away. The course starts before you even arrive at the dive center. PADI's eLearning platform lets you complete all five knowledge development modules on your own device, at your own pace, before your first day of in-water training. You'll watch video modules, work through the reading, pass the online quizzes, and complete the final exam, all from wherever you are. This approach means your time in Sharm is spent in the water, not in a classroom. When you arrive, you go straight to the pool. Confined water training takes place in a pool or calm, shallow beach area, where you'll assemble your gear, breathe underwater for the first time, and work through the core skills: mask clearing, regulator recovery, buoyancy control, and emergency out-of-air procedures. Your instructor is with you through every step, and you won't leave this phase until every skill feels natural, not just completed. Then comes the reef. Your 4 open water dives are conducted from shore, directly into the reefs of Sharm el-Sheikh. The first two dives stay within 12 meters, giving you space to settle into the open sea, refine your buoyancy, and repeat key skills in a real environment. The final two dives take you to 18 meters, where you'll navigate with a compass, practice emergency simulations including the Controlled Emergency Swimming Ascent, and complete independent dive planning, demonstrating that you're ready to dive on your own terms. By the time your logbook is signed and your certification is processed, you won't just be certified. You'll have dived one of the world's great reef systems, with a small group, a dedicated instructor, and the skills to back it up anywhere you go next.
