Description
The Emergency First Response (EFR) course is a practical first aid and CPR program designed to give you the knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond effectively to medical emergencies. Through a combination of theory, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, you will learn how to recognize and respond to life-threatening situations, provide CPR, use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and deliver first aid for injuries and illnesses that may require immediate care. The course covers both Primary Care (CPR & life-threatening emergencies) and Secondary Care (first aid for non-life-threatening conditions). You will practice essential skills in a supportive and realistic environment, helping you feel prepared to take action when professional medical assistance is not immediately available. EFR is suitable for divers and non-divers alike and is an important step for anyone who wants to improve their emergency response skills. For scuba divers, the course is also an important prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver course. Whether you're preparing for your next diving certification or simply want valuable skills that can be used in everyday life, Emergency First Response gives you the confidence to respond calmly and effectively when someone needs help.
