PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

Overview

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course at Cinderella Eldawley takes you deeper into the Red Sea across 2 days of pure water time. Five focused adventure dives, including deep, navigation, night, buoyancy, and fish identification, all from the reefs of Sharm el-Sheikh.

Description

You already know how to dive. The Advanced Open Water course is about learning what diving can actually become. At Cinderella Eldawley Diving Center, the Advanced Open Water program is designed around one principle: maximum time in the water, minimum time out of it. There are no classroom exams. Instead, you complete PADI's digital eLearning independently before your course begins, reading the five chapters that correspond to your specific adventure dives and finishing the knowledge reviews online. When you arrive, your instructor Mostafa Elsayed is ready to dive, and so are you. The course runs across 2 days and five adventure dives, each one introducing a distinct skill set and a new dimension of the underwater world. Your first two dives are the mandatory foundation of the certification. The Deep Adventure Dive takes you down to 30 meters, where you'll experience the physical and psychological effects of depth firsthand, learn to monitor your air consumption under pressure, and understand the safety procedures that make deep diving manageable and enjoyable. Directly after, the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive puts a compass in your hand and asks you to find your way. You'll combine instrument navigation with natural reference points to travel precisely underwater and return exactly where you started, a skill that transforms how confidently you move through any dive site. The remaining three dives are electives, chosen to make the most of what Sharm el-Sheikh's reefs have to offer. Peak Performance Buoyancy focuses on the finer points of trim, weight distribution, and control, turning a diver who can stay off the bottom into one who can hover motionless above a coral head without disturbing a single polyp. Fish Identification takes that reef awareness further, teaching you to recognize, classify, and record the species you encounter, turning every dive into an active observation rather than a passive experience. The final elective is the Night Dive, a genuinely different world. After sunset, the reef transforms: nocturnal creatures emerge, colors shift under torchlight, and the navigation and communication skills you've built take on a new level of importance. With a class size of 4 to 6 students and daily scheduling, the course fits naturally into your time in Sharm. By the time your fifth adventure dive is logged and your certification is processed, you'll be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, qualified to 30 meters, with five distinct diving experiences already behind you.
